Valentine’s Day pays tribute to the Christian martyr Saint Valentine and is associated with romantic love. Love in any form is the most beautiful and powerful emotion. I’ve always been a hopeless romantic! During my younger years, I would write sappy love letters to a crush. The guy I had a crush on never received the letters. I was too shy to send them. The letters were placed in my poetry book instead. Today, I occasionally read those old letters and laugh at myself hysterically! This year I decided to honor Valentine’s day by interviewing my soul sisters Mercedes and Ika about love.
